The 2026 International Peace stamp is an ordinary domestic First-Class Mail Forever stamp, not a Global Forever stamp. “International Peace” is the issue’s theme; it does not name the international mail class.

Design and meaning
The horizontal design centers a white origami crane against a blue field. Peace Crane Project founder Sue DiCicco folded the crane, Sally Andersen-Bruce photographed it, and USPS art director Antonio Alcalá designed the stamp. USPS presents the crane as a symbol of peace.
Can it be used on international mail?
Yes, but only as part of enough total postage. An International Peace stamp contributes the current domestic Forever value. One stamp alone does not cover the current base rate for an eligible one-ounce international letter. Review the calculation and mailing conditions in our Forever stamps for international mail guide.
