NetStamps and Forever stamps are different forms of postage. A NetStamp is PC Postage printed with a selected dollar value on approved label stock. A physical USPS Forever stamp is nondenominated postage whose value follows its applicable Forever rate.

What Happens When Rates Change?
A Forever stamp follows the rate attached to its category. An ordinary domestic Forever stamp therefore follows the current one-ounce First-Class Mail letter rate. A NetStamp retains the monetary amount purchased for that print. If that amount is below the postage now required, add enough valid postage to cover the difference.
Can the Two Forms Be Used Together?
Traditional stamps and NetStamps can contribute to the same mailpiece when every indicium is valid and the combined amount covers the required postage. The finished mailpiece’s weight, dimensions, shape, destination and added services determine the total required amount.

- Choose physical Forever stamps for simple letter-rate inventory, themed artwork and protection from future increases in the applicable Forever rate.
- Choose printable postage when you need to print a selected amount for different mailpieces.
