Priority Mail Stamps

Priority Mail stamps apply a stated amount of postage toward USPS Priority Mail service. They are different from ordinary Forever stamps and should be matched to the current service price, package details, destination, and any required labels.

A service stamp is not a permanent price guarantee

Priority Mail prices can change. A stamp with a printed denomination contributes that value; if the current shipment costs more, additional postage is required. The final price can depend on weight, dimensions, zone, packaging, and optional services.

Before using the stamp

1. Package and measure the completed shipment.
2. Determine whether USPS-provided Flat Rate packaging or weight-and-zone pricing applies.
3. Calculate the current Priority Mail price.
4. Combine valid postage only after you know the required total and labeling steps.
