Reviewed September 12, 2026. USPS has not announced a separate 2026 Halloween stamp in the official 2026 issue material reviewed for this page. That does not mean USPS can never add one; it means a new 2026 issue is not currently verified.

What you can use for Halloween mail

Older USPS Halloween-themed Forever stamps remain relevant when unused and valid. Two verified examples are Spooky Silhouettes from 2019 and Jack-o’-Lanterns from 2016.

Spooky Silhouettes (2019)

  • Four ordinary Forever designs
  • Cat and raven, ghost, spider web and bats
  • USPS pane of 20

Jack-o’-Lanterns (2016)

  • Four pumpkin-lantern designs
  • Ordinary Forever postage
  • Distinct from the 2019 silhouettes issue

Do older Halloween Forever stamps still work?

Yes, unused genuine ordinary Forever stamps continue to carry the current one-ounce domestic letter value. The finished envelope still must meet USPS size, weight, shape and machinability rules.
