USPS’s 2011 ordinary Forever program included commemoratives, special-purpose designs, holiday issues and new definitive formats. The directory below lists 31 distinct designs or multi-design issues first released, reissued in a new format, or added to the ordinary one-ounce Forever program during 2011.
Scope of This 2011 Directory
This list includes stamps whose postage category was the ordinary domestic First-Class Mail one-ounce Forever rate. It excludes fixed-denomination stamps, postcard-rate stamps, extra-ounce stamps, two-ounce wedding postage, Priority Mail, semipostals and non-postage duck stamps. A format reissue such as Lady Liberty/U.S. Flag is identified rather than counted as a new artwork issue twice.

Why Some 2011 Stamp Lists Look Different
Some catalogs mix every USPS product released in the year, including fixed values and other mail classes. Others list only commemoratives and omit definitive format changes. This page uses postage category first: if a 2011 item did not carry the ordinary one-ounce Forever category, it is outside this directory.

Can You Still Use 2011 Forever Stamps?
Yes. A genuine unused ordinary Forever stamp from 2011 remains valid at today’s domestic one-ounce letter value. The mailpiece can still need more postage because of weight, dimensions, shape, destination or added service.
