Which Superman designs appear?

One stamp is a Superman character portrait using art by Curt Swan and Sheldon Moldoff. A second reproduces the cover of Superman #11 from July/August 1941, with art by Fred Ray.

Can a 39-cent Superman stamp still be used?

Yes. An unused genuine stamp contributes 39 cents. Combine it with other valid postage until the total meets the current rate for the finished mailpiece.

How to identify it

• Look for the printed 39-cent value.
