Books, Sheets, and Rolls

Issue Year and Validity

A valid ordinary Forever stamp retains the current one-ounce First-Class Mail letter-rate value even when it shows an older flag design. However, older fixed-denomination Flag stamps are worth the amount printed on them and should not automatically be treated as Forever stamps. Everyday Mailing and Placement

Flag designs can be used for bills, office correspondence, personal letters, and other eligible mail.
