Coral Reefs Postcard Stamps – 100 Stamps (5 Sheets)

Coral Reefs stamps are non-denominated Postcard-rate stamps, not ordinary one-ounce Forever stamps. Genuine unused examples retain the current domestic postcard-rate value, which is 65 cents as of September 1, 2026. This listing contains 100 stamps supplied as five complete panes of 20.

Coral Reefs Postcard Stamps: Listing Facts

Are Coral Reefs Postcard Stamps Forever?

They have permanent rate-based value for the domestic postcard category: the printed artwork does not expire and an unused stamp tracks the current eligible postcard rate. They are not interchangeable with an ordinary Forever stamp’s one-ounce letter value. At current rates, a Coral Reefs stamp contributes 65 cents while an ordinary Forever stamp contributes 82 cents.

Four Coral and Reef-Fish Designs

• Elkhorn coral with two French angelfish.
• Brain coral with a spotted moray eel.
• Staghorn coral with bluestriped grunts.
• Pillar coral with a coney grouper and neon gobies.

Tyler Lang created the stylized artwork, and USPS art director Ethel Kessler designed the issue. Each original 20-stamp pane contains five of every design, so this five-pane listing contains 25 of each.

Five Panes, Not the 100-Stamp Coil

USPS originally produced both a 20-stamp pane and a 100-stamp coil. The total quantity alone does not identify the format. This product is assembled from five complete panes of 20; it is not the single continuous coil of 100.

Mailing Use and Postcard Limits

Use one stamp only when the finished domestic card qualifies for the USPS postcard rate. A square, folded, oversized, unusually thick or nonrectangular card may be charged as a letter or another mailpiece and can need more postage. For a standard one-ounce letter, one Coral Reefs stamp is 17 cents short of the current 82-cent stamped-letter rate.

Compare the Postcard stamp collection, check the existing Postcard stamp guide, or use the postage decision guide for a mailpiece outside the standard postcard format.
