Description

2026 Figures of the American Revolution Forever Stamps

If you searched for “USPS new Forever stamps 25,” the number 25 here refers to 25 different portraits on an official pane of 25—not the issue year 2025. This product is the 2026 Figures of the American Revolution issue in a 100-stamp option made up of four intact 25-stamp panes. If you meant stamps issued in 2025, browse New Forever Stamps and check the issue year on each listing.

Who appears on the 25 stamps?

Each pane presents 25 people whose actions contributed to American independence and the founding of the United States:

Abigail Adams, John Adams, Agwalongdongwas, James Armistead and Cornplanter
John Dickinson, Benjamin Franklin, Elizabeth Freeman, Bernardo de Gálvez and Nathanael Greene
Alexander Hamilton, Lemuel Haynes, Patrick Henry, John Jay and Thomas Jefferson
Thaddeus Kosciuszko, Marquis de Lafayette, James Madison, Thomas Paine and Esther De Berdt Reed
Paul Revere, Deborah Sampson, Baron von Steuben, Mercy Otis Warren and George Washington

Design and format

The portraits are arranged in five rows of five over a softly layered American flag, with the Declaration of Independence forming the larger pane background. Ethel Kessler designed the pane, and 12 artists created the original portraits. USPS issued the design as a self-adhesive pane of 25 that should remain intact rather than being split for individual sale.

How the 100-stamp option is packed

The official USPS format is one pane of 25. This store option contains four complete panes, for a total of 100 stamps. Every pane includes the full set of 25 designs, so the 100-stamp option provides four complete design sets.

Mailing use

Each stamp can pay the current First-Class Mail 1-ounce letter rate for eligible domestic mail. Its Forever postage value remains tied to that rate after future price changes. Heavier, oversized or nonstandard mail may require additional postage.

Issue details verified August 31, 2026 against the USPS stamp announcement and USPS product listing.
