Do Genuine USPS Forever Stamps Ever Have Barcodes?
Yes, some legitimate formats have included visible barcode or serial areas. A USPS Postal Bulletin about self-service kiosks, for example, showed a Sparkling Holidays Forever stamp with a vertical barcode/serial area. USPS also defines information-based indicia with two-dimensional barcodes for postage evidencing systems.
That does not mean every ordinary commemorative or booklet Forever stamp should have a barcode. Many legitimate traditional USPS Forever stamps have no QR code or individual barcode printed on the face.
A Barcode Does Not Change the Forever Rule
