What the 16 Designs Show

The pane presents 16 black-and-white photographs spanning Adams’s American landscape work, including mountains, valleys, trees, rocks, water, architecture and the Southwest. The varied subjects make the set visually diverse while retaining one consistent photographic style.

USPS credited Derry Noyes as the stamp designer and art director. Each photograph is identified in the official pane information, making the issue suitable for buyers who want verifiable art context rather than a generic monochrome theme.

How the 80-Stamp Quantity Is Calculated

USPS issued the set in indivisible panes of 16. This store quantity combines five complete panes:

5 panes x 16 stamps = 80 stamps.

The 80-stamp total preserves the original pane arrangement. Review the live page for current price, stock and delivery information.

Who This Listing Suits

Photography, landscape and American art enthusiasts.
Senders who prefer a restrained black-and-white look.
Buyers who want all 16 official images in the original pane.
Households or offices that can use an 80-stamp supply of ordinary domestic postage.

Can You Still Use Ansel Adams Forever Stamps?

Yes. A genuine unused Ansel Adams stamp carries the current ordinary Forever value. One stamp covers an eligible domestic First-Class Mail one-ounce letter. Heavier, square, rigid, oversized or nonmachinable mail can require additional postage, and international mail follows a different rate.
