Artist Camille Chew crafted the design, drawing inspiration from dragon or lion dance masks. The Year of the Tiger mask, created through traditional paper-cut folk art, stands out with foil stamping.

New York City debuted the 2022 Year of the Tiger stamp at Peter Norton Symphony Space.

The USPS renewed the Lunar New Year series in 2020, featuring paper-cut masks. The tiger installment showcases Camille Chew??s artistic brilliance.

The tiger holds the third position in the Chinese zodiac, marking the beginning of the Year of the Tiger on February 1, 2022.

The tiger in Chinese culture symbolizes power, fearlessness, energy, royalty, and protection, playing a crucial role in folklore and literature.

Differently colored tigers represent each season: white for fall, black for winter, blue for spring, and red for summer. A yellow tiger symbolizing the Sun rules over all.

The Year of the Tiger stamp weaves a tale of traditions, creativity, and cultural richness in its journey.
