Botanical Art Forever Stamps – 100 Stamps (5 Booklets)

This listing contains 100 USPS-issued 2016 Botanical Art Forever stamps in five complete 20-stamp booklets. The issue has ten vintage floral designs adapted from American nursery catalogs printed between 1891 and 1912.

Botanical Art Stamp and Listing Facts

The Ten Vintage Botanical Designs

The pane presents two rows of floral illustrations:

• Top row: corn lilies, tulips, stocks, roses and petunias.
• Bottom row: tulips, dahlias, Japanese iris, tulips, and daffodils with jonquils.

Each image is a detail from an American nursery catalog in The New York Botanical Garden’s nursery and seed catalog collection. The original catalog artists are mostly unknown; the issue preserves their colorful commercial botanical illustration rather than presenting modern flower photography.

Five Booklets Make the 100-Stamp Pack

USPS issued a 20-stamp booklet version as well as a coil format. This product is the booklet configuration: five complete 20-stamp booklets for 100 total stamps. Check the listing title and images rather than assuming every Botanical Art offer has the same format.

Postage Value and Mailing Use

Each stamp is an ordinary Forever stamp. A genuine unused example retains the current one-ounce First-Class Mail letter-rate value despite the 2016 issue date. As checked September 1, 2026, that value is $0.82 per stamp, giving 100 stamps an $82.00 total postage value; the live price on this listing is $65.60.

For invitations, assemble and weigh one finished sample. Layered cardstock, envelope liners, wax seals, square shapes or rigid inserts can change the required postage. Use the postage decision guide when the completed piece is outside the ordinary one-ounce letter format.

Who This Design Suits

The vintage illustrations suit garden events, wedding stationery, save-the-date cards, thank-you notes, museums, libraries and plant enthusiasts. Compare the flower colors with the completed envelope, and confirm the five-booklet quantity, live price and stock before ordering.
